PARENT ASSISTANCE-In General & Home Games

PARENT ASSISTANCE-In General & Home Games

In association with the provision of field line-marking and upkeep by the ILC College the majority of the organisation to carry teams through from the start to end of a football season is given by the parent volunteers within the Immanuel Club Committee and across the Team Coaches & Managers.   As such parents are requested to assist these volunteers through the season.  Some specifics around this is given by Our Partnerships (Home page) and Playing for Possession (Training & Development page)

All SCCSA Clubs have (8) Home Games per season at their fields. These games will involve a Roster for Field Set-up to Pack-up; including a Canteen Roster.  The expectation is that team parents will provide time to assist at Home Games.   It enables all teams and parents to have a well-managed and enjoyable Home Game without any one person having to undertake too great a role. This also helps to build the Club Community, maintain an ongoing base knowledge around season operations and enable the transition of the Club roles and tasks amongst parents until they eventually leave when their child has finished Year 12.

Thank-you
