TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT DAY 2020 – Sat 15th Feb 9.00 to 10.00am ages U11-U17/18 and 10.00 to 11.00am ages U6 to U10

The purpose of Team Announcement Day is:
- Receive information about the club and how the season will work.
- Confirm the Team List & your team mates for the season.
- Confirm a coach, assistant coach and manager for your team & jersey/shirt sizes.
- Choose a name for your team.
- Nominate a training day & time.
This is an important event, the Immanuel FC Committee value parent and player attendance along with the respective Coaches & Managers and request your co-operation in helping the program to run on schedule and in an orderly fashion. As the College each year has some 40 new students entering year 7 which may result in the need to accommodate (where possible) new players and/or teams it is necessary that Coaches & Managers of U11 to U13 attend so that teams across these ages can be balanced to provide the opportunity for new players to be accommodated as far as is possible.
After 12.00 the Club Committee will meet to finalise teams and to continue preparations for the season within the new Environment Centre building adjacent to the Oval, sandwiches and tea/coffee available.
We need volunteers to manage and coach your child’s football team. Managers and coaches only come from parents volunteering. No experience is necessary, full training and ongoing support throughout the season will be given, and there are even opportunities to attend soccer coaching workshops to learn the basics.
